Welcome to my blog, dedicated to all things Russian.

I go by the name of Lola Lawal and I’m a BA Russian and International Relations student at The University of Birmingham currently on my year abroad in Moscow. I have a passion for writing/ creative filming/television and one day, I would quite like to be a journalist.

About the Musings:

Moscow Musings follows my journey of smiles, frowns, ups and downs as I spend one year living abroad in Moscow. Musings can include anything from articles, interviews, videos and just general observations of life here in Russia.

Fashion Section:

The fashion section of this blog is based on interesting bits of clothing and style I spot around the city. It’s all about highlighting the difference in clothing here in Russia as opposed to what I would be used to in England. “Outfit of the day” posts are dedicated to people whose choice of attire has caught my attention.
